Geophysics
What
is Geophysics?
This is the study of the Earth and
underground structures by using methods of quantitative study
and methods. Archaeologists are increasingly using geophysics
to identify underground buildings, structures and holes. Some
of the methods include the study of gravity, seismology, atmospheric
and magnetic properties, meteorology, hydrology, electrical
and electro magnetic fields and radioactivity. It is used
to explore sites and to detect underground anomalies, normally
for archaeology, mineral detection and to monitor environmental
factors. However, when adapted for the use of paranormal research
useful results have been discovered relating to information
picked up by psychics and dowsers (which can be confirmed)
and also relating to anomalous movements not related to human
activity.
Equipment is expensive but if funding or a rich supporter
is available Gravimetres, resistivity transmitters and receivers,
portable seismographs and magnetometers could all be very
useful tools!
Why use
it for paranormal research?
To rule out natural explanations, related to the underground
structures, magnetism, etc. Also to compare with any information
picked up by psychics / dowsers, etc.
Possible explanations for paranormal activity may be related
to the shifts of the earth plates and other Earth factors.
With the assistance of experienced geophysicists a new exciting
area of paranormal explanation may be defined in the near
future.
